We once wish to live in the Moomin Valley

"Moomins and the Comet Chase"
an upcoming 3-D film produced by Filmkompaniet to be released in the fall of 2010.
and what is more exciting is that an acclaimed musician and Moomins fan Björk is also providing original music for the film.
The trailer seems a bit commerce, yet I am looking forward its new creation of Moomin as a piece of art!

「ムーミンズ・アンド・ザ・コメット・チェイス」
今年の秋には欧米で公開予定の３Dムーミン映画です。
製作はフィンランドの映画会社FILM KOMPANIMETによるもの。
主題歌を、大のムーミンファンというビョークが担当するという企画も。
トレーラーが少し商業的ですが新しいアート作品として発展したムーミンに期待！

今日のご飯 / Today's Menu

久しぶりのお家ご飯！

Dinner at home! I haven't had it for a long time...

献立：

-焼きしめ鯖、帆立、いくらのちらし寿司

-トマトのお吸い物

-タイヤキ！

Today's Menu:

-Chirashi-sushi with grilled vinegared mackerel, scallop, & ikura

-Whole tomato clear soup

-Taiyaki!

そして今夜の一杯：浦霞　本醸造

きりり辛口、昔ながらの男らしいお酒です

And a glass of the day: Urakashumi Honjozo

sharp and dry, traditional muscular Sake.

しめ鯖を焼くと、お酢の酸味が香ばしくて好き。

しかし肝心な海苔と胡麻をのせ忘れた！

お吸い物は昆布だしに湯むきで皮を剥いたトマトと

ちょろっとの薄口醤油を加え弱火で一時間煮ただけ。

ジューシーで爽やかなお椀になりました。
ポータベロ・マーケットのエイドリアン・グレーターで購入した
ミッドウィンターの水玉のお皿で。

I like grilled vinegared mackerel. vinegar gives a great aromas.

but I forgot to put the most important condiments: Nori and sesame seeds!

For clear soup, you simply add un-peeled tomato in seaweed broth and a bit of soy sauce

then simmer in lower heat for an hour. its juicy and refreshing cup of soup.
With a dot plate of Midwinter pottery I found at Adrian Grater, at Portobello Market.
