Sand Animation by Kseniya Simonova
This 8-minute piece of animation made all by hand and sand, tells wordless words about war, love, hope and despair.
Kseniya Simonova, the 24-yr-old artist from Ukraine tells us a story of life during The Great Patriotic War, or as we call it, WWII. Ukraine was probably the area most devastated in the war, even more than Germany. It was a conflict that saw nearly one in four Ukrainians killed. Ukraine represented almost 20 percent of all the casualities suffered during WWII. The scene ends in 1945, with the death of Hitler and the end of a long war, with the sailor’s ghost says: “You are always nearby 1945”.
the most emotional emotions might only be interpreted by our senses.

What a beautiful yet heart wrenching video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks and welcome!
I was so amazed how magical fingers she's got. seems like the sand is moving as it already know its gravity.
