JPN DAY4: french fries and FUMI reunion

５日に一緒にFUMIを行う、hanちゃんとの再会。

富山から持ってきたコシヒカリ「医王の舞」をちいさく育て始めたそうです。

これからが楽しみ。

They started raising Koshihikari "Iou no mai" rice crop from Toyama prefecture.

how exciting to see its growth!

その後はクレヨンハウスでhanちゃんの美味しいスコーンの材料を調達。

Then we went to get ingredients for Han chan's special scone at Crayon House.

そして夜は…ハカセおすすめの新宿のBrooklyn Parlorに。

FUMIオールスターズ！！

お野菜談義や、ロンドンでの暮らし、

５日のわくわくするアイデアなど盛り上がった夜でした。

Vegetable discussions, my live in London,

and lots of inspiring ideas for 5th.

We chatted and goofed around like birds.

そして仕事帰りに会いにきてくれた

長野くんからもらったチョコレート！

どうもありがとう。

And I got a chocolate from Nagano kun, who stopped by to see me after work!

JPN DAY3: eatout with my family

to my neighbor Soba noodle place, Hyouroku.

近所のおそばやさん、ひょうろくへ。

Rose at night.

夜のばら。

After filling up our stomaches with

cow line meet stew with Onsen tamago,

hamburg cutlet as big as my face,

squeezing lemon Seabass with marinated Konbu,

casterd-like egg omelet,

and lots of Sake,

we finished up with beautiful Soba noodle,

and of course, Soba-yu.

very nice lady there recommended us some dishes, and they were all so good.

温泉卵のとろける牛筋煮込みに

顔くらい大きなメンチカツ、

鯛の昆布〆にレモンをむぎゅっと搾ったの、

ぷるんぷるん出し巻き卵。

沢山の日本酒で満たしたお腹に

手打ち蕎麦でしめる。

勿論そば湯も。

素敵なお母さんのオススメはみんな美味しかった。

JPN DAY2: Sense of Wonder, drums, drums

Setaka and I came to Sense of Wonder, happened in Art's Forest, in Sasama, Ibaraki prefecture.

茨城県笹間の芸術の森でおこなわれた、センスオブワンダーに行ってきた！

Two summers ago, I and my pal Yoriko spent the most amazing time at this outdoor music festival.

after one year of hibernating time, they came back this year.

２年前の夏に友人のよりこと参加をして感激した、大好きな野外音楽フェス。

昨年の冬眠期間を経て、今年かえってきてくれました。

Unfortunately It was a bit chilly & cloudy weather,

I was snug as a bug in a rug!

あいにくの曇り空で肌寒い日でしたが、

素敵な音と、みんなの笑顔と、赤ワインでぽかぽか！

魔法使いKOJIさん、ライブペインターのコダマコズエさん。
タテタカコさんのまっすぐで透明な声。
アメリカのインディーロックを思い出す、オーグユーアスホールのグルーヴ。

We played like 5years old.

This Jet Roller Slider was the best slider I've ever experienced in my life.

五歳児のこどもみたいにあそんだ。

このジェットローラースライダーは、私の人生において一番の滑り台になった。

Out of all 7 drums, 2 were carried from the back like Mikoshi by 4guys in the bottom!

Directed by EYヨ, the whole venue became one enormous rhythm, and one living organism.

オープニングで２台のドラムが神輿に担がれて、

EYヨちゃんによる指揮のもと７台のドラムに。

会場が、一つの巨大なリズムと、生命体になった。
